We’re the couple behind From Offer to Owner. Between us we’ve navigated the excitement of a first purchase, the chaos of a complete basement renovation on a pre-owned home with ten acres of surprises, and most recently the process of building our current home from the ground up. Every single time we learned something we wished we’d known sooner.
The home that humbled us most wasn’t the biggest or the most complicated — it was the pre-owned one. We had no idea what we were responsible for, what needed attention first, or what would quietly become a expensive problem if we ignored it. We were reactive instead of prepared, and it cost us time, money, and more than a few stressed-out weekends.
